FENCING IN A MOUNT BARKER RESIDENTIAL AREA

Fencing between neighbouring properties in a new residential area is something that needs to be done and should be a simple process. If neighbours are agreeable, if there is some give and take and understanding of others’ financial situation, provided some straight forward rules are followed then the process should go smoothly, with each party paying their share of the costs.

The first and best way of approaching it is to meet with and discuss fencing with neighbours, but sometimes due to circumstances this is not possible and everything will need to be done at arms length, sometimes through third parties such as builders.

An important thing to remember is that whether there is agreement or not, everything needs to be in writing and on the correct government approved forms.
There are several websites that provide good material and are useful as reference sites.
