I am not Old! I Have Character Thank You Very Much!

So where do I start, well, I am on my way to being a double centenarian (few years to go yet!) and yes I have the character lines of my age but my underlying bones are good. Everyone keeps saying, you look good for your age!

Seriously, how many of these youngsters (new homes they call them!) will live to be my age and still be a good as me?

I am built of local raked stone, my walls are thick & my roof is gabled with charming red brick chimneys. My doors and windows are timber and I have a lovely veranda on three sides to keep the sun and water off of me.

I have some standout features, like my solid timber polished floor boards and my well-worn but original back step, it could probably tell you an interesting story or two!

My original 4 rooms, two with open fireplaces, has a few years back been built onto, so these days I am a bit of a hybrid of my original old Australian architecture and more modern design which do blend together beautifully to make me a very appealing home.

My original four rooms are currently used as 3 bedrooms and a dining room but over the years they have been used for all sorts of things. These days it would be up to whatever suits you best, I am pretty open minded for my age!

My rear extension, (if you pardon the term) has a nice long galley kitchen overlooking the family/entertainment room which is set down a few steps. There is a nice combustion heater and split system air conditioner in this part of me. On the same level as my kitchen is my bathroom and laundry.

I sit smack bang in the middle of over 1000sqm so there is plenty of room to run around me and have fun. Also I would look wonderful with some additional gardening, maybe grow a few veggies and a pet dog or even kids!

I do have a single garage and a smaller tool shed, built out of that modern metal stuff but I guess I need to accept new things! The garage has a door that goes up with the press of a button, really modern technology for me!

Oh and I nearly forgot to mention, I have a lovely roof ornament, they tell me it’s a 3kw solar power generating system and its real good to help keep my personal upkeep costs down!

I am in a lovely convenient spot, being close to shopping centres, medical facilities and schools, including the Waldorf School.

What I need is a bit of love and attention, a bit of a touch up here and there, and I am quite willing to discuss what you want to spend on me. I promise you I will continue to look as good and stand here for another 150 years!
