Wisteria announces spring with its vibrant purple flowers climbing over many of our landmark buildings.
The Bridgewater Mill is spectacular in its own right but the beautiful scent and flowers from the old wisteria adds another dimension.
This tough and reliable climber though mainly purple also comes in whit and soft pink also with a variety of double flowers.
Their growth can very very rampant and they need to be watched as tendrils will run nearly 7 metres in one season but their flowers make it all worth while.
